Wax mold precision casting, also known as lost wax casting or investment casting.
The casting method is as follows: first, make a model of the casting to be made with wax material, and weld the model to the sprue bar with the same material to make a module (when the casting is large, it can be individually grouped). Dip the surface of the module with refractory coating (a mixture of water glass or silica sol and fine sand), then sprinkle refractory sand (dipping and sanding should be repeated several times to make the sand layer thick enough). After it dries and solidifies, heat the module and remove the wax material from the sprue to form an empty shell. Roast the empty shell to make it a sturdy mold, pour the metal liquid into the gate, and after condensation, it becomes a metal casting.
